Canare Impedance Transformers allow 75ohm coaxial transmission

of all 2-Channel AES/EBU Digital Audio Signals while providing

excellent rejection against hum and noise.

These low cost and easy to use transformers passively convert all standard

AES/EBU digital audio signals from 110ohm/ 3-Pin XLR Output

(@ 4.5 Volts) to a 75ohm BNC coaxial cable and then back

again to a 110ohm / 3-Pin XLR Input (200mV min). The BCJ-XJ-A10TR is 

a 1 Volt peak to peak version for integrating

base band video DAs and Routing Switchers with 10dB attenuation pad.

Neutrik AES/EBU TRANSFORMERS

In addition to the original NA-BF/NA-BM adapters, two new versions in this series are now available. The BNC

to 3-Pin XLR Receptacle (male & female) and the BNC to XLR cable end (male & female). Developed to provide

and excellent impedance transformer at a reasonable cost for meeting the needs between analog & digital

applications. Use of these adapters also allows for longer cable runs via unbalanced coaxial lines rather

than twisted pair cables that present high attenuation values at relevant frequencies.

Criteria for these specialized adapters include:

• Impedance matching between 110ohm and 75ohm

• Transition of balanced/unbalanced circuit (balun)

• Electrical isolation (optional, not necessary)

• Attenuation for use of analog video distribution equipment (optional)

• Reduction of hum & noise
