LAIRD LTM-5500FS BLUE FLAME BIDIRECTIONAL DV MEDIA CONVERTER

The LTM-5500FS is a broadcast quality, bidirectional converter of analog video & audio signals to and from

IEEE1394 DV, also known as FIREWIRE or ILINK. The unit converts Component (R-Y, B-Y, Y), Y/C, or

Composite video and 2-Channel Balanced Audio.

Front panel controls allow audio level control and VU metering of audio signals. Each Balanced section

(input & output) is equipped with an unbalanced audio signal for standard amplifier monitoring. The LTM-

5500FS has two audio sampling rates: 32KHz & 48KHz.

An additional front panel control allows the user to select either Component Video, Composite Video

or Y/C Video. In the DV to Analog mode, the LTM-5500FS outputs either Component or Y/C, and

Composite video. The LTM-5500FS is housed in a 1RU cabinet. NTSC & PAL selectable.

or Y/C Video. In the DV to Analog mode, the LTM-5000 outputs both Composite and Y/C video simultaneously.

The LTM-5000FS is housed in a 1RU cabinet. NTSC & PAL selectable.
